Daniel Lim Wins Outstanding GSI Award

BESTie Daniel Lim won the Outstanding GSI Award for 2017-18 for his work with ME292C (Human-Centered Design). The Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor (OGSI) Award honors UC Berkeley GSIs each year for their outstanding work in the teaching of graduate and undergraduate students. These OGSI recipients are nominated from within their teaching department. The GSI Teaching & Resource Center gives the award recipients certificates of distinction and a celebratory ceremony in the spring. In addition, currently enrolled graduate students who receive the OGSI award will receive a $250 stipend sponsored by the Dean of the Graduate Division, to applaud outstanding GSIs.

The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Chevron Auditorium at UC Berkeley’s International House.
