The BEST Lab received an enthusiastic response at the 2017 Robot Block party held at the Jabil Blue Sky Center. The event was the 8th Silicon Valley Robot Block Party – the longest running celebration for National Robotics Week.

The BEST lab gave one of the plenary presentations (Lee-Huang Chen and Adrian Agogino) and had two tables for demos in the industry robots pavilion.

PC World and Discovery channel are showing some of our videos, such as this one of our 6-bar tensegrity robot built by UC Berkeley’s BEST lab demonstrated incline surface climbing TT-4mini. The robot was able to successfully climb up 24 degree (44.5% grade) incline using multiple actuators.
