The California Management Review has recently released a concept video on design roadmapping & Sproutel’s human-centered design case of its use.
Sproutel is a company that makes interactive learning toys for children diagnosed with a chronic illness. UC Berkeley postdoctoral scholar Euiyoung Kim worked with the organization on their product strategy by creating a design roadmap. Design roadmapping differs from traditional product roadmapping in that it focuses primarily on user needs.
