Squishy Robotics was selected to be in the inaugural cohort of the Shatter Fund Growth Accelerator for women-led tech companies. Shatter Fund is a venture capital (VC) fund that solely invests in high- potential, disruptive technology companies headed by female entrepreneurs. The Shatter Fund website motivates its investment focus with this fact: companies with female founders perform 66 percent better than companies founded by men.
CEO Alice Agogino said, “Squishy Robotics is honored to be in this inaugural Shatter Fund cohort. We believe that our participation will help us gain greater access to government and public sector organizations as well as help us better scale and manage the distribution and delivery of our innovative sensor robots.”
The Shatter Fund partners with the Public Spend Forum (PSF) in this accelerator program for women entrepreneurs. PSF operates a market and supplier platform called GovShop. Using Big Data and artificial intelligence (AI) to help navigate the crowded marketplace, GovShop helps connect local, state, federal, and international government agencies and suppliers to companies such as Squishy Robotics that have emergent technologies.
COO Deniz Dogruer “is looking forward to participating in the inaugural Women-Led GovMarket Growth Accelerator sponsored by Shatter Fund and Public Spend Forum! It is truly inspiring looking at the other exceptional women-entrepreneurs selected to join the cohort!”
