There are elevators and stairs at both ends of Etcheverry Hall. The easiest way to get to us is take the elevator on the Hearst Avenue side to the 6th floor. As you exit the elevator turn right. We are the lab on your right as you turn into the corner into the corridor. Knock loudly. Directions to the Berkeley Institute of Design Several BEST lab students have their main desks in the Berkeley Institute of Design. Until construction is completed on the CITRIS building BiD is a little more complicated to get to. The Berkeley Institute of Design spans rooms 354 and 360 of the Hearst Mining Building. If you're coming from Central Campus (easiest) Head to the Hearst Mining Building (next to the Mining circle on this campus map) and head up the steps to enter through the grand looking entrance. In the large hall head up the stairs to your right then follow the corridor in front of you around to your left. BiD is the door at the very end of the the corridor in front of you. Knock loudly as we graduate students may be too engrossed in our work/sleeping. If you're coming from Hearst Avenue, Soda, Cory or Etcheverry (harder) Head up Hearst Avenue (East) from Euclid Ave, Etcheverry and Soda and enter Cory Hall, the large white building on the other side of the road. You have to exit on the far side on the floor below, so head down any of the stairs in the corners and once you're down aim for the far corner. Exit Cory then go straight into Hearst Mining through the double doors opposite. Head right then up the stairs at the first left. At the top of the stairs turn left.
